Time for Immigration to be Woke, Fair and Equitable

It is long overdue that immigration (legal and illegal) into the United States be made fair, equitable and inclusive to all.  This is what Wokeism is all about, right?

Of the nearly 8 billion people on Earth, the population breaks out into five broad racial categories: Asian 54%, Black 15%, White 15%, Hispanic 8%, Middle Eastern 8%.  In order to promote diversity, as well as be fair, equitable and inclusive to all, shouldn’t U.S. immigration policy be directly aligned with these global racial percentages?

This is certainly not being done today — and, astonishingly, a massive and unfair racial advantage is being given to at least one category based solely on proximity.  In this globally interconnected world, America's glaring preferential treatment for one or two racial categories (and discrimination against others) is wholly unacceptable.

People all over the world are in difficult situations and want the opportunity to immigrate to the United States to seek a better life.  And a person can fly from Mumbai to Los Angeles far faster than one can walk from Guatemala, right?  So why the unequal and unfair racial treatment for immigrants?

America must right itself from these unjust (and hypocritical) policies.  It is time to reimagine America's immigration policies to align with Woke principles of diversity, fairness, equity and inclusiveness.

To successfully accomplish this, America's first priority must be to take firm control of its southern border so that it can properly enforce these new immigration principles.  Secondly, U.S. immigration admittance must henceforth mirror the global racial percentages listed above.  This is the only way to be truly fair, equitable and inclusive.

For the racial categories that continue to surpass their allowable immigration allotment percentages via “illegal entrance” into the U.S., they will be put into a "penalty box" to deter further abuse.  This penalty box will shut down all further “legal immigration and visas to the U.S.” from that category’s home nations until the abuse has ceased for a one-year period.

Since most of the world’s ruling classes want access (and / or dual citizenship) to the United States, this penalty box policy will prompt leaders of these pathway nations to take serious measures to stop illegal immigration flows into the United States.  Inaction will no longer be an option.  If they don't act, their ruling class will be locked out.

Likewise, pathway nations that successfully block illegal immigration flows into the U.S. will be put into a "bonus box", and be rewarded with increased allotments for legal immigration and visas to the U.S.  And if a pathway nation hits high-bar goals for curtailing illegal immigration into the U.S., they will be rewarded with U.S. economic assistance as well.

In order to pursue this policy, the U.S. will need to establish a total annual number of immigrants (legal plus illegal) that it will accept.  Only then, will the U.S. be able to accurately monitor and stay true to a fair racial diversity immigration policy.  Perhaps one million immigrants per year would be a reasonable starting number, with a three-percent annual increase thereafter.

Of course, if using global race demographics is deemed unreasonable, we could instead pursue a fairness distribution based on current U.S. demographics.  Something tells me this won't be Woke enough though.  According to CNN on 2020 Census Data, the current U.S. demographic breakdown is approximately: White 60%, Hispanic 18%, Black 12%, Asian 6%, Middle Eastern 4%.

Surprisingly, Woke-Immigration has the potential to spur two of the most consequential (and long elusive) accomplishments in American history.  These being to: 1) prompt the United States federal government to finally take firm control of its southern border (in order to enforce fair racial immigration practices), and, 2) compel pathway nations to genuinely block illegal immigration flows into the U.S. (in order to protect their ruling class access to the U.S.).

Whether this article started off tongue-in-cheek (or not) is not relevant.  What is important is that Woke-Immigration could potentially accomplish what no American president ever has.  For those who want immigration progress, Woke-Immigration may be worth analyzing further.

The immigration policy described herein is exactly what diversity, fairness, equity and inclusivity are all about, right Wokesters?  And what say you, Non-Wokesters?
