It’s hard to keep up!
This is my standard reply to the most common question I get these days: “How do you think he’s doing?”
And it is.
By design, and he would say, “the grace of God,” President Donald Trump is executing his Presidential agenda faster, harder, and smarter than people thought he would—or, more precisely, faster and harder than they believed he would be able to.
This time after emerging from more or less the largest exile in American history, he’s on offense and that’ is where he intends to stay for the next four years. These first two years expected to be especially filled with fervor.
He’s been given one more crack at saving the nation he loves. He knows much better how to go about it. And he’s not interested in wasting one second of time in accomplishing the job.
His four years away from the White House has only added fuel to the fire of his urgency. And unlike his first term he has no time for the bush league delays, hoaxes, and betrayals. He’s picking better people to do bigger things and to insure Americans are at the sole forefront of every policy and every decision.
His trial balloons on Canada, Greenland, and the Panama Canal are strategic. He’s measuring reaction — especially from China and Russia to gauge their intent. His mentioning the Stars and Stripes going to Mars in his acceptance speech is akin to JFK, but he truly wants to see it done.
The pace is one that withers people half his age—especially when seeing publicly a President who could barely exit a stage.
Not sure if you caught it but before boarding Marine One this last week to go survey the damage and the government malfeasance afterwards in North Carolina he stopped by the rope line of press. He answered every question they threw out and then invited them all to fly on his plane—to save money.
Where do we start with how refreshing all of it was.

A president who could take unscripted questions, not shunning even one of them? A commander in chief heading off to assess a long since forgotten group of people shivering in the cold? Saving the US taxpayer money by suggesting fewer planes be used?
Remember we were told that his opponent would save us all from the mistakes of her predecessor. That was right before she blew through $1.5 billion in campaign funds, and then went $20 million further into debt.
Here the President is saving the cost of a few plane tickets.
And then there is the policy front. His most appointments have all been confirmed. Already the State Department is uncovering American hostages that we didn’t even know were being held. His SecDef will show up to work on Monday and we have yet to really understand how much wokism and malfeasance has been languishing there but it’s about to have the brightest of spotlights trained on the Pentagon. And if I were a three or four star that had gone along with Obama/Biden nonsense I’d be packing my boxes already.
Homan and Noem are already triangulating the exit of illegal migrant rapists and murderers. Zeldin is ready to start tapping out the dross at the EPA. McMahon is likely beginning the final stretch of the Dept of Education. We already have White House envoys deployed to hot spots. (Presidential envoys don’t need Senate confirmation like Ambassadors.) And they are already renegotiating directly on The President’s behalf while typical DC bloat churns its way through the confirmation grinder.
It’s akin to a shell of buckshot being sprayed at its target. Every ball bearing blasted with equal force going in its proper direction but all at once so that it’s impossible for the target to break through.
He doesn’t have time to care what people think. He couldn’t care less what the shrews—I mean—the women on the View, or MSNBC, or even in Congress have to say.
He has a near 60% approval rating. He increased his vote total in every county across the nation in his third run for office. He feels that the Almighty saved his life so that he could serve his nation in this moment.
He sleeps maybe 4 hours a night. He went to work on minute one. It’s manic. It’s forceful. It’s like buckshot unrelenting and unstoppable.
There’s no dirty made up dossier. The Dept of Justice is about to get the most overdue spring cleaning it’s ever received.
It’s a thing of beauty, and most importantly it’s why we elected him.
So yeah… It’s hard to keep up!
