Hollywood elitist Jon Cryer recently made an outrageous claim, comparing President Donald Trump to terrorists and asserting that he is more dangerous than the masterminds behind 9/11. This is just the latest example of actors stepping up with baseless accusations against Trump, seemingly eager to stir controversy and advance the left’s narrative targeting the president. Whether exaggerating or completely making up false stories to demonize him, Hollywood continues to use their platform to push the left’s agenda instead of addressing real issues. Given Hollywood’s longstanding alignment with progressive causes, it’s no surprise.
Cryer took to the left-leaning version of X, Blue Sky, to complain about Trump and accuse him of committing terrorist-like acts. His comments come in response to Trump’s goal of draining the Washington swamp and reforming the federal government after it was revealed that millions of dollars have gone to keeping empty office buildings open, paying salaries of employees doing nothing, and funding woke programs.
“Donald Trump is attacking the United States more effectively than Al Quaeda ever could,” Cryer wrote on the social media platform.

His comments come after the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced plans to restructure its scientific research department, dismissing over 75 percent of its staff, including 1,155 chemists, biologists, toxicologists, and other scientists. EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin has stated his goal of cutting at least 65 percent of the agency’s budget. This would lead to significant staff reductions in critical areas, such as monitoring air and water quality during natural disasters and lead abatement. Additionally, any spending items exceeding $50,000 would now require approval from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), overseen by Elon Musk.
Cryer was a notable supporter of former President Joe Biden, often downplaying concerns about his declining health in office. Whenever Biden made a public gaffe, Cryer repeatedly dismissed it, claiming the former president had "misspoken."
