Geraldo Rivera Gets Roasted for His Out-of-Touch Claim About Illegal Immigrants

Richard Drew

Former Fox News host Geraldo Rivera is getting brutally roasted online for downplaying the disastrous illegal immigration crisis the United States is facing under its current leadership.

While living in his little bubble surrounded by fellow Democrat elites, Rivera took to social media to claim that “many of the folks most concerned with illegal immigrant aliens have never actually seen one.”

His comments sparked a flurry of outrage and pointed out the dangers Americans face daily due to the millions of illegal aliens crossing over the southern border and into the U.S. at the hands of President Joe Biden’s open border policies.

Since Biden took office in 2021, 1,178 assault and domestic violence crimes have been committed by illegal migrants. This is more than a 400 percent rise from the 208 the year before.

In addition, illegal possession of or trafficking of drugs obtained by illegal aliens skyrocketed by 453 percent from 2020 to 2021 from 386 to 2,138.

Last month, recently ousted Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas admitted that the Biden Administration is allowing 85 percent of all border crossers and illegal aliens who arrive at the southern border into the U.S. With only four months into fiscal year 2024, nearly one million illegal migrants have crossed the border and unlawfully entered the U.S.—- compare that to the 2.37 million illegal aliens who arrived at the border in Fiscal year 2022 and 2.47 million in 2023.
