Argentina President Warns of Growing Socialism Phenomenon In Front of WEF Elites

Argentina President Javier Milei is warning the world of socialism, saying that it is a phenomenon that creates poverty.

During the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Milei cautioned the Western world that it is in danger “ because those who are supposed to have to defend the value of the West are co-opted by a vision of the world that inexorably leads to socialism, and thereby to poverty.”

Milei, a self-described “anarchy-capitalist,” added that “Free enterprise capitalism is the only tool we have to end hunger and poverty” in his address at the “Achieving Security and Cooperation in a Fractured World” panel. He also claimed that leaders of Western nations have “abandoned the model of freedom for different visions of what we call collectivism.”

In the past, the president of Argentina has vowed to correct his country’s sky-high inflation rate by replacing local currency with the American dollar and eliminating roughly half of the country’s government agencies. The country is experiencing its highest inflation rate in more than three decades, at more than 211 percent. Two in five Argentinians live in poverty because of the country’s worsening economic state.

“Do not surrender to the advance of the state. The state is not the solution; the state is the problem itself. You are the true protagonists of this story. And rest assured that as of today, Argentina is your staunch, unconditional ally. Thank you very much, and long live freedom, dammit!” He told Davos elites, in which many favor a Marxist regime.

According to Reuters, Milei told reporters that he was attending the WEF in Davos to “plant the idea of freedom in a forum contaminated by the 2030 socialist agenda.”

He also told the business leaders at WEF that they are social benefactors and “heroes,” adding, “Let no one tell you that your ambition is immoral. If you make money, it’s because you offer a better product at a better price.”

Milei holds conservative values on several stances, such as gun control, immigration restrictions, and a smaller government. He has also rejected the work of the feminist movement in the past.
