CBS News has distinguished itself in recent months, continuing to expose its long-established entrenched biases and woke culture on a number of high-profile occasions. We saw the Vice Presidential debate, which JD Vance won in spite of the network moderators' best efforts. We saw the internal meltdown over a morning show host daring to ask quasi-pointed questions of an anti-Israel fanatic and racial grifter beloved on the hard Left (in addition to other Israel coverage-related scandals). We saw Face the Nation's anchor embarrass herself with a historically-illiterate reference to Nazi Germany, earring a deserved rebuke from the Secretary of State. We saw the 60 Minutes controversy surrounding their edits of a Kamala Harris interview. We saw the same program give a lengthy, unchallenged, on-air tongue bath to European censors who prosecute people for social media posts deemed to be offensive by government apparatchiks.
It's time to add a few more entries to the ever-growing list, starting with CBS News getting busted for taking media regurgitation of Hamas propaganda to the next level. Typically, 'news' outlets uncritically and credulously spread claims or "statistics" invented by the bloodthirsty and murderous Hamas terrorist organization, often citing the sanitized authority of the Hamas-controlled 'Gaza Health Ministry.' That is horrendously irresponsible journalism. But this? This is a different sort of sickness:

No, but actually, did they just copy and paste that sentence from a Hamas press release or social media post? Referring to Hamas casualties 'martyrs' of "Israeli aggression" is breathtaking. Immediately quoting a statistic from the Israeli military (which goes to historic lengths to avoid and minimize civilian casualties) and slapping a 'without evidence' disclaimer on it is an extra middle finger. This is the work product, mind you, of the many layers of editorial oversight that legacy media defenders often brag about. They seem to have frantically scrubbed the passage once they got caught, but screenshots last forever. And by the way, yes, the vast majority of casualties in the Hamas-started Gaza war have been militant age men -- i.e. the prime demographic of Hamas and its allies. Even Hamas' own manipulated statistics have been altered to reflect this reality:

In addition to republishing Hamas propaganda, but along similar lines, CBS News also decided to cover the discovery of an ancient Mayan child sacrifice altar by soliciting a quote from an "expert' who insists that intentionally murdering children to please the gods does not constitute evidence of a violent civilization. This is absolutely wild:

Running interference and PR for savages -- past and present -- is the common thread here. I suspect some of this arises from the twisted woke dogma that it's racist to frame any culture as inferior to another (dumping on Western civilization and culture, however, is both an exception to this nonsense rule, and a celebrated pastime among this crowd). That's how denizens of the CBS newsroom end up publishing 'mostly peaceful child sacrifice'-style quotes in a news story about a gruesome, centuries-old discovery. Similarly, it's 'problematic' to suggest that Palestinian culture is deeply broken, extremely bigoted, and glorifying of death, which is objectively inferior to Israel's thriving, pluralistic, democratic, life-affirming culture. So the "Gaza Health Ministry's" word is taken as gospel, while words like 'martyrs' slips into coverage. Relatedly, did you see the headlines about Israel attacking another hospital in Gaza? Well, guess who was operating within the hospital, maintaining an evil and years-long practice? And guess who issued evacuation warnings in advance, in order to protect innocent life, even if it meant surrendering the element of surprise? Such facts are often buried or left out of narratives altogether. This is additional, vital context from an anti-Hamas Palestinian scholar:
Last year, a source of mine at the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, told me that in early 2024, mysteriously, suddenly, and strangely, entire floor wings at the medical facility would be taken out of commission and would become off-limits to all regular Gazan patients. Upon investigating further, he learned that Hamas was taking over sections of the hospital, setting up shop to treat its soldiers and, shockingly, Israeli hostages, and using the installation as a miniaturized command and control node and hoping that the Israeli military wouldn’t find them out. I’m sharing this information publicly for the first time because I think it is critical to let the whole world know that Hamas continues to abuse medical facilities throughout the Gaza Strip. I asked my friends to provide me with more specifics & visual evidence, but they were unable to, especially after the IDF intensified its attacks on southern Gaza.
The post below confirms what everyone except the “pro-Palestine” movement has known: Islamic Jihad, Hamas, and other terrorists in Gaza continue to intimidate medical staff and seek to turn hospitals into terror operational centers. This particular Doctor, Mohammed Saqer, refused to let terrorists set up shop in his ward. He’s now being threatened by the “resistance” that’s so beloved and favored by so many who think this is helping the people of Gaza. Share this with the entire world so that honest, honorable Gazans trying to do the right thing can have a voice!Tell the world that the so-called “resistance” in Gaza is a fraudulent, fascistic Iranian militia getting Gazans killed and destroying hopes for a rejuvenated Palestinian national project. Down with Hamas!
And yet "progressives" shout Hamas slogans in our streets, angrily opposing the removal of explicitly pro-terrorism and anti-American agitators who are guests in our country.
