Elon Musk fired back at podcast hosts who harshly criticized employees working for his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The hosts referred to Musk’s team of young professionals as “children” and "arrogant little pr—s,” while leveling other disparaging comments during their broadcast. Musk quickly condemned the remarks, defending his team and emphasizing their dedication to improving government efficiency and reducing waste.
Tech journalist Kara Swisher and “Pivot” podcast host Scott Galloway, both very liberal and very progressive regular “experts” on CNN, went on an unhinged rant about Musk, claiming the group is forming a coup and want to see Democrat governors arrest DOGE employees.
“We're going to call the federal marshals, or the President has ordered you to step aside," Swisher said, referring to orders from President Donald Trump for DOGE to audit government agencies, which are spending tens of millions of dollars on useless, wasteful spending. Musk has nearly shuttered the doors of the entire U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

“I want to see Democratic governors … use the full faith and the letter of the law to put you folks in prison … This is a coup … We need to go gangster here.” pic.twitter.com/RT5qiBRbFR
Galloway likened it to "trespassing," claiming that Trump, whom he refers to as an “insurrectionist,” is engaging in illegal activities. He even took it a step further by tracking down the "full gangster," claiming to have discovered the DOGE team's names, appearances, and home addresses to "hold them accountable."
Democrats are frustrated because they have benefited from these funds for years, and now Trump has made it clear that the financial cash cow has come to an end.

However, Musk fired back, accusing Swisher and Galloway of "threatening talented, young software engineers.”
Musk labeled the two liberal critics as "cruel, mean, and deceitful" for attacking his team, whom he praised for sacrificing high-paying jobs and facing death threats to serve the American public.
Swisher & Galloway are threatening talented, young software engineers who are gave up high compensation for death threats in order to help the American people.
