Liberals are constantly telling us that if you're someone who works hard, gets a decent job with a reasonable salary, then some how it's because of your "white privilege." The Left continually pushes this idea that pulling yourself up by your boot straps is a bad thing. If you're white and poor but you suddenly make it, it's not because you overcame obstacles and extenuating circumstances. It's because of your skin color.
The hashtag #MyWhitePrivilege trended on Twitter this weekend, with white people talking about how they've gotten away with various crimes or were treated different than people of color based on their skin tone.
Was caught trespassing in someone's backyard (due to Craigslist housing scam) and didn't get the cops called on me, no weapons were pulled, was invited in the woman's home, had a calm conversation. #MyWhitePrivilege (*white pretty female privilege)

Pulled over with a group of friends after curfew while we were in the midst of TPing houses. I was wearing camouflage face paint and fatigues (not my friends; they weren’t dorks). Since I was 18 and not subject to curfew laws, they let me go. #MyWhitePrivilege

I love shopping in boutiques. When I go alone I am greeted from the counter and told to ask if I need anything. When I go w my partner, he's black, we are greeted in person and they hover until I we get to the counter.

If he goes without me... he would never.#MyWhitePrivilege
Because of #MyWhitePrivilege I was able to run through 3 different credit cards at the same register, all with different names, at a Target in Florida. I made my purchase using my father’s card. The clerk waited patiently as I sifted through my wallet.

In high school we had a huge party that got broken up by the cops 2-3 kegs in. They sent a bunch of drunken teenagers home with a warning (driving home, that is...)#MyWhitePrivilege

We know the Left enjoys pushing this narrative. They like to create further division between whites and minorities. But they seriously chose the stupidest time to run with this talking point. They chose the weekend Jussie Smollett was not charged for staging his own hate crime to talk about white privilege.
Conservatives reminded liberals of the hypocrisy:
Liberals on twitter are really trying to get this #MyWhitePrivilege trending the SAME week Jussie Smollett had charges for staging a hate crime dropped?!

Seriously. You couldn’t pick any other week?
I lie about Trump supporters beating me up in downtown Chicago and then scam out of 16 felony charges. #MyWhitePrivilege

#MyWhitePrivilege I hired some Nigerian pals to pretend to beat me up so that I could claim to be victim of a Trump-induced hate crime, then when, despite the media’s best efforts, my story fell apart, I got off with 0 charges & was allowed to claim my innocence & keep my TV gig

And one other person pointed out a tidbit the left would love to forget: Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D) was caught wearing blackface in his past.

Dems, at least if you're going to try to act like holier-than-thou you might want to keep an eye on the skeletons in your closet.
