There are a lot of reasons liberals are freaking out about the Trump/Pence government. One of those reasons, in particular, concerns reproductive rights. Trump has repeatedly pledged to appoint pro-life justices to combat Roe v. Wade. Pence has been a long time pro-life legislator.
It seems that more women are upset with Pence, who they claim will jail women for having abortions. The idea of criminalizing abortion, which would go beyond merely making it illegal, is highly debated even within the pro-life community.
Women are vocalizing their concerns on social media. Many are advising each other to get IUDs and other forms of birth control before Trump is officially sworn in as president.
PSA ladies: please consider getting an IUD or stocking up on birth control before Trump is in office bc ur reproductive rights are not safe

Insured? Get your IUD now, before Trump-Pence reverse the requirement for full contraceptive coverage. https://t.co/oiQ6mvT1Ix

Another concern for these women is the promise both Trump and congressional Republicans have made about defunding Planned Parenthood. Taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood has become a highly controversial subject since July 2015, when undercover videos showed high level employees in Planned Parenthood selling fetus tissue. Now several celebrities are making major donations to the corporation, and calling on their fans to do the same.
The petty part is that they’re encouraging women to not only make donations, but to do so in Mike Pence’s name. Then they should send the certificate to him.

This isn’t the first time Mike Pence has received inappropriate mail as a form of protest. Last July, the hashtag #Periods4Pence circulated on social media. Women used the hashtag to detail their menstrual cycles, then tagged Donald Trump and Mike Pence in their tweets.
.@realDonaldTrump & @GovPenceIN are VERY interested in your uterus. Tweet them, let them know how yours is #PeriodsForPence #TamponsForTrump

Pro-Life advocates like Lila Rose and the Live Action media movement are cultivating their own social media outreach. Both have asked their followers on twitter to held pitch in to support Congress in defunding Planned Parenthood.
We must urge @realDonaldTrump and the new Congress to defund @PPact. Donate to help us fight.
