The GoFundMe account for the victims of Sunday morning's shooting in Orlando has reached over $3 million in just three days. In the six years of the company's existence, this is by far the largest campaign.
Currently, with over 75,000 donations, the campaign continues to break records. By Monday afternoon the funds surpassed $1 million according to GoFundMe’s vice president of communication Dan Pfeiffer's tweet.

Equality Florida, a local LGBT civil rights organization, created the campaign on June 12 in hopes of providing support to the victims and their families. The organization is working with the National Center for Victims of Crime to raise money and the Orange County Bar Association to distribute funds to the different families.
GoFundMe was the largest donor, giving $100,00 to the cause Monday morning. Other large donors included Executive Pride and Cricket Wireless.
“The campaign is the largest and fastest growing in GoFundMe’s history,” spokesman for GoFundMe Bobby Whithorne said to The Washington Post, “Our thoughts are with the victims and all those affected by this terrible attack.”
This campaign surpasses previous record holders such as #SavingEliza that raised more than $2 million in 2013 to help save 4-year-old Eliza who was diagnosed with a terminal disease.
"Love is love. This won't bring anyone back. Hopefully this can help those who need it now," wrote a donor of $20,000 on Monday night.
