Top Aide to MD State Comptroller Under Fire for Suggesting Mass Killing of Trump Supporters

Well, we have another episode of 'the Left just hates us' this week. This latest incident of vile intolerance exhibited by the Left against those who disagree with them lands us in Maryland. The state comptroller office received a complaint from the Maryland Republican Party that its chief of staff, Len Foxwell, should be fired over remarks that pretty much suggest a mass killing of Trump supporters. As the Washington Examiner reported, he was commenting about an article from National Public Radio about those who are protesting the stay-at-home orders and ensuing economic lockdown who call themselves the Patriot Movement (via Washington Examiner):

In his since-deleted April 13 Facebook post, Foxwell wrote:

Let’s lure them into a big, big warehouse (we’ll call it something real classy to suit their refined sensibilities, like 'America MAGA Platinum Palace') with the promise of all the unfiltered Camels they can smoke, all the Salisbury steak and banana moonpies they can eat, washed down by all the Old Crow and Icehouse they can drink.

Plus, autographs from Scott Baio and pics with Tawny Kitean, posing all sexy and everything on a sportscar, just like in that old Whitesnake video! Get them in, bar the door and then let Darwin work his magic.

The publication added this is what caused MD GOP Chair Dirk Haire to send this letter to Comptroller Peter Franchot, demanding Foxwell be fired. Well, it looks like that's not going to happen:

And Foxwell said over the weekend that the post was made "in a typical spirit of sarcasm and jest."

Is it, though? Foxwell isn't the only liberal who has made idiotic remarks like this. He can join Miami Herald columnist Fabiola Santiago who tweeted about Florida re-opening its beaches "should work out nicely to thin the ranks" of Trump supporters and Republicans in general. She's since deleted the post and apologized for wishing death upon Trump voters. I've also had liberals in my feed who are just unhinged, saying how Trump supporters are country bumpkins who deserve to have their days and lives ruined because of how they voted; I'm paraphrasing in a more family-friendly tone.

It's typical. It's expected, but maybe we should stop accepting their apologies. First, for these top aides and media figures, are they really that stupid that they thought this would just slide by? Second, this isn't a gaffe. This is how they feel about us. We're in the way of their left-wing wet dream for a progressive, super woke society. Sorry, not everyone agrees with high taxes, destroying the wealthy, speech codes, and searching for those who are violating the arbitrary cultural appropriation protocols. It also kills me that enforcing the latter is usually the whitest people on planet Earth. How could blacks, Asians, and Latinos speak if it weren't for the Birkenstock-wearing, kale-loving liberal from super-white Oregon being there? My eyes couldn't roll any harder due to this and also for the sole basis of this whole pseudo-intellectual movement being grounded in crap.

Now, regarding the article, Idaho has fewer than 2,000 cases of the Wuhan coronavirus and around 54 deaths total. It's one of the states that probably could start looking into slowly re-opening because of a precipitous dip in new cases, but this has nothing to do with the stay-at-home orders. It just offered these folks another "kill all Trumpies" scenario to fetishize about. They've always felt this way about Trump supporters, but they have allies in the media that either suffocates a story or are there to circle the wagons.
