Rejoice: Keith Olbermann Retires From Political Commentary

Well, there will be one less headache from the liberal media orbit; Keith Olbermann has reportedly retired from political commentary. No, I’m not kidding. This isn’t a prank. The former ESPN and MSNBC host has decided to call it quits because, well, he’s frankly out of things to say post-2016. After 187 episodes on GQ, which amassed almost 500 million views, Olbermann delivered his final commentary in which he says there are seven freight trains coming for President Donald Trump that will destroy his presidency. He admits that the president might be able to dodge a few of them, even six, but not all seven. Either way he thinks the Trump presidency is over. Yeah, we’ve all heard this before. Trump is finished, only for him to end up winning the Republican nomination. Trump is finished; he can never win. That ended with the biggest upset in American political history.

Whether it’s a possible 2018 blue tsunami, Russia, the Mueller investigation, etc. Keith Olbermann is quite confident that Trump won last through his first term (via The Hill):

"I am confident now even more so than I have been throughout the last year that this nightmare presidency of Donald John Trump will end prematurely and end soon, and I am thus also confident that this is the correct moment to end this series of commentaries," Olbermann said, adding that Trump will either be removed from office or forced to resign by his own party sometime in the next 13 months.

The 58-year-old progressive provocateur insisted to his viewers that he wasn't being fired and was in good health.

"No illness. No scandal. No firing. Just I've said what I've had to say," Olbermann said. "It was as obvious as I made it seem. I give my work everything I can, so it's not like I can dial it back."

"I am retiring from political commentary in all media venues," he concluded. "Thank you for all the kind words and all the support. Have fun storming the castle. My work here is done. Matter of fact, so is Trump's."

Yes, we’ll miss your commentary, Keith—like the time you call Education Secretary Betsy DeVos a motherf**ker.

But we all know this man will probably come back. The man has bounced around from network to network and if Trump survives more than 13 months, it’s probably a safe bet that Olbermann does come back to give us some more mind-numbing drivel from the bottom of the progressive cesspool. For now, the commentaries about arresting Jared Kushner for trying engaging in the common practice of back channeling with other governments, urging our intelligence network to unlawfully leak classified information to hobble the Trump administration, and how Trump has caused more damage to America than Osama bin Laden will cease…for now.
