Big Money: Clintons Raked In Over $6 Million In Speaking Fees Last Year

Well, we all know that the Clintons are making bank on paid speeches, and that trend doesn’t seem to be slowing down. In 2015, the power couple raked in $6,725,000. Joe Schoffstall of The Washington Free Beacon had the documents. Their tax returns were released earlier today:

This should rehash that time Hillary Clinton said that she and Bill were “dead broke” when they left the White House, despite receiving, on average, $24,000 a day in the first few months they left 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. It should also come to no one’s surprise that the couple was able to cobble together enough money to buy some very nice residences in New York and Washington D.C.

Between 2001-2013, Bill made $105 million from 542 speeches.

Now, again, not bashing the Clintons for making a killing post-presidency. This is America. At the same time, don’t say that you know what the middle class is going through. You make in one speech what many Americans won’t earn in their entire lifetimes. You’ve pretty much been living in government housing since Bill was elected governor in Arkansas in the 1980s. Moreover, Mrs. Clinton, you haven’t driven yourself since 1996. You wore a $12,496 jacket during a dinner about income inequality, but hey—you got to pay the bills. Indeed, but don’t kid yourselves that you're working class heroes when you're Wall Street’s best friends. Let's face it we have two money bag candidates running this year...as always.
