Guy covered this yesterday. A Republican state representative in Maine took a stand against transgender athletes in women’s sports and was censured as a result.
This stemmed from the fact that the lawmaker, Rep. Laurel Libby, shared photos online of a recent pole vaulting competition in the state where a man who pretends to be a woman won against girls.
This incident caught the attention of President Donald Trump, who signed an executive order prohibiting men from competing in women’s sports. Trump confronted Maine Gov. Janet Mills about this to her face, telling her that she’ll lose funding if her state doesn’t comply with the order.
As Guy noted, Libby was stripped of her ability to speak in debates, or even vote, unless she formally apologizes to Democrats for her online speech about transgenders in sports.
Now, it appears that Maine House Speaker Ryan Michael Fecteau, a Democrat, has taken down his X account.

“Apparently Maine's Speaker of the House didn't like hearing the voices of the people,” Libby explained, noting that this occurred two days after she was censured.
“He’s a coward with no conviction just like the rest of the anti-woman, anti-reality crowd,” women’s sports advocate Riley Gaines responded.
.@GovJanetMills, @SpeakerFecteau and the rest of Maine's Democrat Majority know their radical agenda is both indefensible and wildly unpopular — so when they can't silence their opposition, they flee debate.

It's poor leadership. The people of Maine deserve better.
