Trump Says He And Merkel May Have Both Been Wiretapped

Speaking at Friday's press conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, President Donald Trump said that he thinks they had both been wiretapped by the Obama administration. Trump made the comment that he thought they had "something in common" regarding being spied on by the former president.

Merkel looked taken aback at Trump's statement, and laughter could be heard throughout the room. In 2013 it was revealed that the NSA had been spying on allies, including Germany.

There is no concrete evidence that Trump Tower was ever wiretapped.
