The question the Democrat party has put before us is, "Against whom is it permissible to discriminate?"
Democrats have decided that it is permissible to discriminate against women, undoing a century of work by the women's rights movement. If successful, Democrats will render Title IX, a federal civil rights law passed as part of the Education Amendments of 1972, inert. Title IX prohibits gender-based discrimination in any school or other education program that receives funding from the federal government.
The women's rights movement consists of "waves." The first wave, from the late 19th century and early 20th century, focused on gaining fundamental legal rights, most notably the right to vote and prohibition. The Second wave, from the 1960s to 1980s, focused on workplace discrimination and abortion. The third wave from the 1990s to 2000s focused on race, class, sexual orientation, sexual harassment, and violence against women. The Fourth wave, from the 2010s to the present, has taken a hard left, partisan Democrat turn, focusing on winning elections at all costs, the failed #MeToo movement, and a coordinated propaganda machine through social media and the legacy media. Traditional feminists have disappeared from the political landscape. Their silence in the face of their work being destroyed by the party they have been loyal to for decades is astonishing.
This current faux rights movement is Democrat "victim creation." After the Supreme Court declared gay marriage constitutional, one can imagine a meeting at the Democrat National Committee headquarters with consultants terrified that they need a new group to exploit as victims. The consultant said, "We need some people we can market as hated by conservatives. We add 'phobe' or 'phobic' to their label, and we're off and running. Who has an idea?" "I've got it," said a purple-haired, non-binary human named Pat, "Transgender people. They're less than one percent of the population and are a minority. We can call conservatives transphobic and transphobes!" "Perfect!." Said the consultant. "He went on to say, "It's important to find people with low self-esteem. They will be more likely to join the cause. So, we will need our professors to get on that." Pat said, "Wait, what do we do about transgender people who really had gender dysphoria and went through years of counseling before transitioning and are leading quiet, private, productive lives?" "We ignore them."

And here we are. This effort is backfiring on Democrats. Violent male teenage predators have raped girls while pretending to be female. Deviant employees in elementary schools are trying to create transgender people by confusing impressionable, tender-age minor children. High school officials allowed men in drag to give lap dances to minor boys on school property. Women and girls are losing scholarships as they lose competitions to men and boys who are losers in their own gender's competition. As a result, parents pay attention to curriculum, homework, and library books, attend school board meetings, vote out school boards, and run for school board. For too long, the extent of parents' participation in education was dropping their kids off at school and checking their homework.
Allowing biological males who (pretend) "identify" as female and "trans-females," that is, former men who had the elective genital-removal/replacement surgery to compete in women's sports, discriminates against women and girls and violates their civil rights under Title IX.
When we don't allow biological males or trans-females to compete in women's sports, we are called, you guessed it, "transphobic." When we argue for the privacy and safety of women and girls, we are charged by the Democrats with denying civil rights.
This debate of allowing men or trans-women in women's sports is nothing like the civil rights movement. When we integrated the military and public schools and passed the 1964 Civil Rights Act, we righteously endeavored to add minorities to every part of our society. We didn't eliminate anyone. We said people as full participants in our society and culture. The Democrat Party seeks to prevent women from participating in this significant part of our culture.
In seeking to allow biological males and trans-females to use female locker rooms and restrooms, Democrats discriminate against women and violate their privacy. Women are entitled to privacy. The desire for privacy is a natural state. The presence of a male in a women's locker room or restroom makes women feel unsafe.
The Democrats have forced the people to choose. Like 76 million people on November 5, 2024, I chose women.
