As the President’s poll numbers bounce between pathetic and merely terrible, the Biden administration has been trying to distract the public from the undeniable disasters of their own making by saying that democracy is under attack from their political opponents. These statements often come with a reference to claims about the 2020 election being stolen or what administration officials deem misinformation over various crises the administration’s ineptitude has foisted upon Americans. As you can see, you don’t have to a be a low-level staffer to have been susceptible to these fact-free claims during the Trump-era. Many of these individuals are high-level appointees and employees actively pushing conspiracy theories that a few of them appear to have played a role in conjuring up themselves. Democracy may be under attack after all, but President Biden need look no further than fellow cellar dwellers Inside Biden’s Basement to find those partially responsible.
