Kirsten Powers of CNN detonated quite the stink-bomb when she claimed on air recently that all white females who supported President Trump were “racist.” Maybe she hasn’t been getting enough attention on the loser channel and hoped to spike its viewership with such a nauseating and ridiculous charge.
Apparently she’s incensed because Mr. Trump intends to stop the march of thousands of illegal immigrants, largely “brown” people in the leftist vernacular, who are vowing to invade America. Yes, invade. But in her effort to brand the president’s resolve as racism rather than upholding the U.S. immigration law which he took an oath to enforce, Powers has actually exposed herself as a racist.
Racists want to keep minorities the underclass. When they’re not terrorizing them or preventing them from voting as did the Democrat Ku Klux Klan in the old South, they just ignore their needs and support policies that harm them, as do today’s Democrats. The heartless liberals don’t care whether our American minority citizens have jobs or can feed their families.
Economic research has firmly established that illegal immigrants take the jobs of our least-educated and lowest-earning American workers – blacks and other minorities. And I’m not talking lettuce-picking. The Democrats who aid and abet the illegals storming our borders know this but they don’t care. They are focused intently on elevating illegals and helping them to join the workforce and the Democrat voter rolls on the backs of our black workers. They’re putting our American racial minorities down while raising up illegals to compete with them for jobs. In other words, Democrats are racists actively working against the best interests and the very livelihoods of one of their own most faithful voting blocs: black and other minority Americans.
Just ask Peter Kirsanow, a member of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, who stated in 2015 that then-president Obama’s amnesty was a greater threat to black people than the police. “It’s a bigger threat to black livelihood,” Kirsanow said, “When you look at the hundreds of thousands of blacks thrown out of work over the years as a result of the competitive pressure the downstream effects are profound.”

Kirsanow added that as more illegal immigrants enter the U.S., encouraged by the president’s (Obama’s) sweeping executive actions, they flood low-skilled labor markets once dominated by blacks, which ultimately decreases wages and increases job competition for low-skilled black workers.
At the time the 10.1 percent black unemployment rate was double the white unemployment rate, which stood at 4.7 percent. Now under “racist” President Trump and the Republican Congress tax cuts, black families have a real chance at prosperity with black unemployment in May falling to 5.9 percent – the lowest since the government started keeping track in 1972. The unemployment rate for people of Hispanic ethnicity has also dropped significantly to 4.9 percent.
One of the great lies of the left in their mission to promote illegal immigration is that illegals do the dirty, hard jobs that “Americans won’t do.” Look around you; your own eyes will tell you this is a whopper. Visit a site where homes are going up, or take a look at a landscaping crew. Maybe a dozen years ago I was seeking a company to put a new roof on a home I owned in Denver. I called a number of firms but several said they were going out of business because they couldn’t compete with the low bids from the roofing companies that used illegal workers. Illegals have driven our citizens out of a vast number of careers that Americans have always done, many of them in the construction trades.
They include stone masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywalling, floor installation, carpet laying, installing heating and cooling systems – just about anything to do with building. Later in remodeling an older home, our general contractor, who had started out as a carpenter, told us that years ago illegals just did the framing work but had moved into all areas of construction, driving Americans from the jobs they depended on to support their families.
The ripple effect of illegals taking black citizens’ jobs extends far beyond a lost paycheck, to the very cultural foundation of the black community. According to Kirsanow, “When unemployment rates increase, black institutionalization rates also increase. Individuals who don’t have jobs are less likely to be married or to get married, which means you are more likely to have kids out of wedlock. It’s a self-perpetuating negative cycle,” he said. “These are the things that the Congressional Black Caucus and the president (Obama) have refused to address and are things that are tremendously harmful to the prospects of black Americans economically, socially and culturally.” Kirsanow, who is black, was formerly a member of the National Labor Relations Board and Chair of the Center for New Black Leadership.
There’s also evidence that immigration lowers the wages of black workers. In 2009, Harvard professor George Borjas, studied how immigration impacted the economic status of black men and found that a 10 percent immigrant increase in the supply of a particular skill group reduced black wages by 2.5 percent, lowered the employment rate of black men by 5.9 percentage points and increased the incarceration rate of blacks by 1.3 percentage points.
“It is evident that there is a negative correlation between changes in employment propensities and the immigrant share, and that the correlation is stronger for black men,” Mr. Borjas wrote.
In his testimony before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, Cornell University Emeritus Professor of Labor Economics Vernon M. Briggs, Jr., put it this way: “…all studies show that the large infusion of immigrants has depressed the wages of low skilled workers…it is the illegal immigrant component that has most certainly caused the most damage.”
He continued, “No group pays a higher penalty for this unfair competition than do low skilled black Americans given their inordinately high unemployment levels…The continued reluctance by our national government to get illegal immigrants out of the labor force – and keep them out – by enforcing the existing sanctions at the work site against employers…is itself a massive violation of the civil rights of all low skilled workers in the United States and of low skilled black American workers in particular. Illegal immigrants have no right to work in the United States. In fact, they have no right to even be in the country. Enforcing our nation’s labor laws – including the protection of the legal labor force from the presence of illegal immigrant workers – is the civil rights issue of this generation of American workers.” https://cis.org/Testimony/Illegal-Immigration-Impact-Wages-and-Employment-Black-Workers
Which makes voting for President Donald Trump the most non-racist move anyone can make. Just as the Democrats opposed the civil rights movement of the 1960’s that finally gave true voting rights to black citizens and the right to go to school with whites, today the Democrats oppose the black American’s right to a obtain job without being displaced by an illegal who is breaking the law. As always, the Democrats are the real racists.
