Families Were the Reason Virginia Turned Red

The gubernatorial win in Virginia by Glenn Youngkin should be credited to parents who are fed up with mask and vaccine mandates, and highly sexualized, pornographic, and racist propaganda being dished out by Virginia government run schools.

Former Governor McAuliffe actually campaigned against parents. He saw that as a winning strategy because he is part of a large Democratic Socialist Party that believes children belong to the state.  They have completely lost touch with reality and liberty. Even James Carville opined that the Democrats are so incredibly out of touch with voters, who are appalled by the “stupid wokeness” ideology rampant throughout the party.

Much of this education and campaigning against parental involvement was hidden and done in secrecy for many years, but when the Biden Administration came into power with their extreme views on abortion, sexuality, trans-identity, BLM, socialism, mask and vaccine mandates, and anti-family rhetoric, the extremists felt they had a license to boldly come out of the closet with their agenda. Children have been exposed to sexualization through sex education, pornographic literature, BLM propaganda, CRT, anti-American views, and the demonization of family - we we all get to see it clearly.

These extremists really believed that parents would passively sit back and let it happen.  When parents started to politely question their teachings and school policies of allowing trans-identified boys in girls’ private spaces, they were met with dismissal. Things got progressively worse, and parents took a stronger stance and confronted school boards and superintendents, which was met with disdain.

Loudoun County schools passed a policy to allow biological males who identify as girls to use girls bathrooms and locker rooms. This dangerous policy led to the brutal rape of two young female students. I think this was a critical point in the election season.

The Loudoun County schools had their own on-campus police and they decided to hide the brutal rape and not call the city police department. The father of one of the girls reacted as any father should and he took action. He immediately called the police and had a rape kit administered to his daughter. This action led to a conviction of the male student who raped the girls. He confronted the school at a school board meeting and was met with disdain and was arrested. That’s how a socialist regime treats those who don’t fall in line and obey the ridiculous, harmful policies that put children at risk.

The best mistake that these extremists could have ever made was to label parents as domestic terrorists.  The National School Board Association had some nerve to request that U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland label parents as domestic terrorists for protecting their own children is unconscionable.  Even worse (or better, come Election Day), Garland actually did it.

The Biden Administration and those who support anti-family rhetoric, like Planned Parenthood, SIECUS and BLM, make concerted efforts to minimize families. When I worked as a Planned Parenthood-trained Title X sex education director, we were taught that parents are a barrier to service. Service means abortion, contraception, hormone therapy, you name it. We taught kids how to circumvent their parents in order to get what they wanted. Those who support this kind of education belittle parents by saying that they are incapable of teaching their children or knowing what is best for them.  They push for policies that eliminate parental rights and diminish the value of family.  They do this because they know that family is powerful and that powerful families lead to freedom, free thought and liberty.  And let’s face it, powerful, free thinking families are the enemy to Socialism.

The attack on the family will continue. Families are right to focus on education. That’s where the Democratic Party, which is leaning more and more towards Socialism, knows that if they can groom your children to adopt their beliefs and reject the values of freedom loving families, then it’s just a matter of generations when our children will undo all that we have fought for. The key is to fight for your family by protecting your children from becoming indoctrinated.

Virginia is now a red, conservative state with a Republican House, Governor, Attorney General and Lt. Governor. That happened because of family. It was protective parents who were determined to risk everything to protect and lead their own children in our free nation. No local, state or federal mandate will stop the powerful covering of a family over their own children. It takes a family to raise strong children, build healthy communities and form a great nation.

The families of Virginia proved that the power of family leading in their state removed a governor who was a threat to the well-being of their children and their liberty.  Parents took charge and took their power back at the voting booths. We want this family movement to continue across this nation. I stand and agree with the parents of Loudoun County, let’s #Loudounize the rest of the nation.  Family is the solution, not the problem.
