Do the Unrighteous Now Outnumber the Righteous in America?

Tuesday’s election may answer that question.

I have been arguing, all through this current election cycle, that two things will decide who the next President will be:  one, how much hanky-panky the utterly amoral, megalomaniacal Democrats can get away with, and two, has America finally reached the point where the number of godless, hate-America, hate-Christianity people outnumbers patriotic, God-fearing Americans?  Tuesday’s election will probably decide both of those questions, the second being far and away the most important.

America, as, sadly, all countries/nations/peoples eventually do, has been drifting leftward towards godlessness and immorality for several decades now.  Never a perfect country (no such thing has ever existed on this earth or ever will), decadence has become increasingly noticeable.  I began clearly noticing it back in the 1990s.  No godly country would ever elect, as its chief leader, a cur like Bill Clinton, and then follow that with a radical Marxist like Barack Obama, and a totally amoral hypocrite like Joe Biden.  America has been showing signs of degradation for a long time, in many aspects, including who it is electing to office.  “Representatives” represent what kind of people a nation has become.

Donald Trump is certainly not a reincarnation of Jesus.  I have made it plain, several times, that I have some difficulties with some of Mr. Trump’s morals, though I’ve seen him do a lot of very good things, too.  He wasn’t my first choice for President, but I know we all have faults, sins, and weaknesses, and Mr. Trump is our nominee and unquestionably far, far superior to any Democrat, certainly Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.  The Democratic Party has simply thrown any semblance of decency and Judeo-Christian morality completely out the window.

The Democrats don’t even make any pretenses any more.  Anybody who believes in abortion on demand (at any point, but especially up till birth), same-sex marriage, homosexuality, child mutilation for the sexual pleasure of perverts, that men can “become” women and women can “become” men, allowing and defending criminals to roam the streets and prey on innocent citizens (and also invite them illegally into the country by the millions)—this is not even a 10th cousin to anything Moses or Jesus taught.  If a person claims to be a Christian, if he/she says that “Jesus is my Lord” yet supports the Democratic Party, then that individual needs to seriously examine his or her spiritual thinking.  Donald Trump may not strike us as the most godly, moral man on earth, and I would agree with that.  But he does at least hold on to some vestiges of traditional American values, something Harris and Walz do not even come close to doing, especially morally.  A person just can’t be a Christian, claim that Jesus is his/her Lord, and support a party that believes in and practices the above-mentioned decadent things.  It is simply impossible.  Supporting Republicans (too many of whom also accept some of those degradations) is difficult enough; supporting Democrats cannot be done, not without placing politics above Jesus.  And if a person does that, then Jesus is not his/her Lord, the Democratic Party is, as is true with Biden, Pelosi, and every other Democratic politician who claims to be a “Christian.”

Even if Americans elects Trump on Tuesday, I fear this may only be a bump in the road towards the country’s eventual collapse or second-rate ineffectiveness as a nation.  It’s just history.  Nations don’t remain at the top forever, they eventually weaken and either die (the Roman Empire), or deteriorate into useless vapidness (England and France).  It will happen to America, eventually, regardless of whom is elected on Tuesday.  It will simply happen faster if Harris wins.

America has become a nation where too many people live by “every man does that which is right in his own eyes,” not “every man tries to do what is right in God’s eyes (with human frailties and imperfections)”.  The former is the Democratic Party’s philosophy; it was also the essential moral philosophy of Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and every other mass-murdering thug in human history, at least until they gained power.  Then it became “every man do what is right in MY eyes or suffer the consequences.”  And that is the Democratic Party.  Too many Americans, and zero Democrats, no longer allow God’s Word to be their moral guide, and until we get back to that (and Donald Trump needs to be pointing us in that direction), the country will continue to degenerate, regardless of whom we elect to high office.  “Education is useless without the Bible,” Noah Webster said, and he was exactly right.  “Liberty does not exist in the absence of morality” (Edmund Burke).

The last few decades of American—and world—history have proved the absolute truth of these statements.

Trump is, for the United States and the world, measurably superior to Harris.  But America needs more, much more, as in, it must look upward again, far higher than Washington, D.C.

But my question again is, asked one more time—do the licentious now outnumber those who at least want some semblance of godly morality in the country?

Tuesday will answer that question.
