On January 20th of this very long and tedious year. Americans who voted for Biden were hoping for a respite from Trump’s hyperbole. Instead, they were victimized by Biden’s more substantial prevarications. Things have been on a serious downhill slide for the United States in virtually every governmental and social domain. American is hurting – both as a nation-state and as a people.

Of course, no one really knew how Biden would actually govern as President. During the Obama years Joe was a marionette, controlled by Obama (think Dan Penn & Spooner Oldham’s hit “I’m Your Puppet”). During the 2019 presidential campaign Joe was a mirage created by the left and the mainstream media. Unlike Donald Trump, Mr. Biden refused to perform live campaigning, sequestering himself in his Delaware basement with a teleprompter, except for three televised debates. Experts gave two of the three debate wins to Trump.

Biden’s greatest weakness is “I  disease.” He has done so little in a constructive way to lead as president that he has to claim ownership for what others have done. Ironically, the man he takes self-centeredness from the most is President 45. On the same day that he took office, Biden received his first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid vaccine to assure all Americans it was safe. Thus began Biden’s process of taking credit for Trump’s accomplishments.

New York Post’s Steve Nelson said, Biden claimed falsely, “Just over four weeks ago, America had no real plan to vaccinate most of the country. Biden’s fantasia came despite Trump’s administration publishing a plan in September that his [Biden’s] administration largely followed…“My predecessor failed to order enough vaccines, failed to mobilize the effort to administer the shots, failed to set up vaccine centers.” Forgetful Joe obviously didn’t have his teleprompter because according to a Government Accountability Office report, Trump’s “Operation Warp Speed,” accelerated COVID-19 vaccine development status and efforts to overcome the myriad manufacturing and distribution challenges.

Becket Adams of the Washington Examiner reported, “If there's one thing President Biden loves, it’s passing off somebody else’s work as his own. The president on March 11, 2021 took full credit for the pace of COVID-19 vaccine development and distribution in the United States, declining to give a modicum of praise to the Trump-era program that made the to-date total of 98 million doses possible.”

The “blame and claim” fault in Biden’s personality was on full display in the reporting of the Afghanistan exit disaster. After totally ignoring all of the proposed benchmarks established by the Trump administration for an orderly and safe withdrawal, Biden ordered an immediate departure from the country. Biden lied that he was forced to follow Trump’s deadlines (but didn’t). Joe then claimed that Trump was to blame for all the problems associated with his chaotic diplomatic blunder, saying he had ended [disastrously and dishonorably] America’s longest lasting war! After Biden’s claim on August 31, 2021 that all Americans were rescued from Afghanistan, the Pentagon released a statement “that nearly 450 American citizens are still in Kabul following August’s U.S. military withdrawal.” Ooops!

The Kenosha and Waukesha situations presented yet another opportunity for Biden to reveal his equivocality. At his ambiguous best, Biden acknowledged that the verdict in the Rittenhouse trial "will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included...everyone must acknowledge that the jury has spoken (Did anyone not acknowledge that the jury had spoken?).

In a report about the aftermath of another Wisconsin event, the tragic sextuple murder and injury of sixty-two white people--the Waukesha Christmas parade massacre on November 21st, Terresa Monroe-Hamilton contrasts the responses from both Biden and Trump, saying “President Joe Biden was slow to respond, asserting that all the facts were not in yet, while Trump was not reluctant at all, calling the tragedy ‘devastating, horrible, and very, very sick!’” Darrell Brooks Jr., an African American career criminal, was arrested after intentionally driving his SUV into that crowd of white people.

Weeks before the incident, Brooks had posted $1,000 cash bail in a domestic abuse case after he was accused of intentionally striking a woman with his car. Leftist District Attorney permitting this travesty, John Chisholm, was elected thanks to support from George Soros who donated $50 billion to help get Biden elected. In a personal statement of deflection, Chisholm blamed an “overworked” clerk for the errorMiranda Devine reported in the New Your Post that the legacy media are burying the Waukesha story because it threatens the very core of the progressive revolution convulsing the country--criminal-justice reform.

Say-It-Isn’t-So Joe seems oblivious to his declining approval ratings and diminished standing, bested only by that of his Vice PresidentAs Jim Geraghty has shown in National Review, Biden seems stuck in a fool’s paradise where what is, really isn’t and what really isn’t, is: “Biden saw Tuesday’s election results — where Republicans swept Virginia statewide offices, won back control of the Virginia House of Delegates, nearly beat a New Jersey governor who was supposed to be a shoo-in, gained seats in the New Jersey state legislature, and dished out a “shellacking” in New York’s local races — as an endorsement of his agenda: ‘I do know that people want us to get things done…And that’s why I’m continuing to push very hard for the Democratic Party to move along and pass my infrastructure bill and my Build Back Better bill.’”

In what must be one of the grandest ironies in American politics, Biden’s immigration policy is fraught with internal contradictions. Fox News concludes, “President Biden's enhanced winter COVID-19 strategy…will require every traveler entering the country, including returning U.S. citizens, to be tested one day before boarding their flight, according to the CDC. The rule will also apply to vaccinated travelers, who previously were only required to show a negative test no more than three days before their flight.” Ironically, the Biden administration has refused to require the same of those who illegally cross the border…saying “such individuals do not intend to stay here for a lengthy period of time."

Joe’s prevarication of unifying instead of dividing is given the lie by his words and policies that divide instead of unifying America.
