One of my favorite things about Fox News hosts is that if you miss one of your favorites, there’s a good chance you can catch them at another time, because many of them pull double duty at the network. In the case of this week’s Dozen, sometimes it’s even triple duty.  Not only is Eric Bolling a co-host on “The Five” and host of “Cashin’ In” on Fox News, but he also occasionally guest hosts on “The O’Reilly Factor” and “Hannity.”

Prior to joining Fox News, Bolling was a commodities trader specializing in gold, natural gas and crude oil.  After developing “Fast Money” on CNBC, he joined Fox Business and Fox News.

This New Year’s Eve, Bolling, along with co-host Kimberly Guilfoyle, has the honor of hosting the farewell party for 2016.  In a year of ups and downs (aren’t they all?), you can be sure that Fox News’ “All-American New Year” is one you don’t want to miss.  Festivities begin at 11 p.m. EST live from Times Square in New York.

The De Pasquale's Dozen asks political figures and free market-minded writers and entertainers to take a break from politics and talk about their pop culture obsessions.

1. What's your favorite movie line?

“I’m gonna make him an offer he can’t refuse” - The Godfather

2. Tell me about your favorite teacher and how he or she influenced your life.

My parents were my greatest influencers… they really believed in me and allowed me to follow my goals. I believed in no barriers, reach for the sky

3. If you could be paid to do anything besides your current job, what would it be?

I love my job and look to many more years of being on TV as a contributing voice!

4. What canceled show would you put back on the air?

Crossfire

5. What's your favorite "guilty pleasure" TV show?

The View

6. What’s the best present you ever received as a child?

Confidence.  Sports gave me confidence, my parents cultivated it.

7. What’s the best present you ever gave?

We were very poor, so when I finally made some money, I bought my parents an apartment so they could move out of the old house we grew up in… my proudest moment.

8. What advice do you remember your mother or father giving you?

My mom’s final words on earth… she whispered into my ear:  “Never quit” (I won’t!)

9. What books are on your reading list?

I love political books… but one book I always recommend is my own best seller Wake up America, which is available in all book stores!

10. What's your favorite New Year's Eve tradition?

I really enjoy hosting Fox’s New Year’s Eve Show.  It’s a chance to expand beyond the politics (which I love) into some really fun segments!

11. What would you like tomorrow's headline to say?

“Breaking News... Ruth Bader Ginsburg to retire TODAY”

12. Tell me about the moment you decided to enter the political news arena.

I’ve always been a political junkie. I was honored to be on a Duke University fellowship when I was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates. I left politics for baseball and years later I find myself back in the political arena… big league!
