Just six months after Iranian-backed Hamas terrorists broke into southern Israel and slaughtered thousands of men, women and children in their homes — by gunshot, beheading or burning — in addition to massacring, raping and taking hostage hundreds of young people dancing at a music festival — President Joe Biden and the American left have abandoned the side of good.
After the IDF mistakenly attacked an aid convoy this week, resulting in the death of seven civilian workers, Biden has trained his fire on Israel instead of Hamas terrorists. Hamas regularly steals aid convoys and transports fighters in them.
“He underscored that an immediate ceasefire is essential,” a White House readout of a phone call between Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the situation states.
This is a ludicrous position and demand in the aftermath of a wartime mistake.
According to Chair of Urban Warfare Studies West Point John Spencer, Israel has “100% followed the laws of war, have implemented measure to protect civilians & prevent harm, more than any military in history under even close to similar context (there is no comparison). There has been no evidence Israel targeted aid workers, journalists, or civilians.”

Until this week, the White House also recognized this reality, and Hamas has been a designated terrorist organization by the United States for three decades.
“The State Department has a process in place. And to date, as you and I are speaking, they have not found any incidents where the Israelis have violated international humanitarian law,” National Security spokesman John Kirby told reporters during the daily briefing Tuesday.
This posture completely changed within 24 hours as Arab American organizations, which roundly fail to condemn October 7, continued to pressure the White House. Democratic donor and Chef José Andrés, a Palestinian sympathizer whose organization lost the aid workers, called Biden personally.
Biden previously claimed it was essential for Israel to eliminate Hamas, which is correct. Yet now he’s demanding Israel stay out of Rafah, where 8,000 Hamas fighters exist and are holding hundreds of hostages — including eight Americans — and demanding a ceasefire before the job is done. Failing to finish the job will result in more war, not less, especially given Hamas’ declarations it will commit October 7 “again and again and again.” These are the same terrorists who cheered on 9/11 as they watched the towers come down in Manhattan and the smoldering scene at the Pentagon. They celebrate the smell of burning flesh, in Israel and America. And yet, they're being appeased to live another day for political reasons.
Given Biden’s weakness in the region and overall as president, his capitulation to the screaming, pro-terrorism lunatics in the Democratic Party was inevitable. But the damage done cannot be understated.
“In a White House statement on the phone call between Biden and Netanyahu, Biden demanded an immediate cease fire by Israel. Biden has made a choice. He supports not an ally, but Hamas, a terrorist organization that murdered, raped, mutilated civilians to include Americans on 7 October. It is a moral choice. He failed,” former Trump advisor and General Keith Kellogg posted on X about the situation.
This war isn’t about land or resources. It’s a choice between good and evil. Civility and barbarism. Western civilization and the stone age. It’s really simple. Hamas started a war on October 7. They stole hundreds of innocent people and are still holding them hostage. Not starting wars or taking hostages prevents any of the consequences that follow, including operation mistakes that kill non-combatants.
Biden has betrayed the Founding Fathers (you can read more about why in my previous column, linked here), the Greatest Generation — whose fight against the Nazis resulted in the establishment of Israel as a modern state — and our only true friend in the Middle East. The consequences will be staggering and costly. For Biden, appeasing pro-Islamic terrorism voters to win a second term in the White House, it’s worth it.
