It is these kinds of reactions by the establishment and the Republican elite that have made many people angry.This anger is only adding to the support for the remaining insurgent candidates Donald Trump, and in some measure Ted Cruz.
One look at many of Trump stances on the issues leave many questioning how conservative he really is. Perhaps that issue does need to be addressed. Making sure candidates adhere to party values is important, but this could be handled at the state level.
The Republican National Committee (RNC) could take up a movement for more closed primaries. Each state's RC could then raise a motion to close their primaries. Keeping Moderates and Democrats out of Republican primaries would insure that those with questionable values a lower level of success in each state.
