Conservatives have long railed against the extreme bias exhibited by the legacy media. We point to legions of slanted stories, always favoring Leftist viewpoints: An MS-13 member is depicted as the Maryland “father of the year,” while the Trump Administration is evil for seeking to keep him out of the country! DOGE is saving billions in bogus Social Security payments but the legacy media reports that DOGE is destroying Social Security! On and on it goes.
Legacy media features which extol the virtues of the Trump Administration or conservatives policies are exceedingly rare. Amazingly, those on the Left claim that there is no bias or, if so, it's for Conservatives.
To determine which side is correct, consider the following simple observation, which resolves the issue. It centers on Donald Trump's White House chief of staff, Susie Wiles.
Susie Wiles is the first female chief of staff in American history. It is a huge job with enormous responsibilities. Her selection highlights Donald Trump’s lack of bias. Lara Trump had a nice interview with Ms. Wiles, but 300,000,000+ Americans will never see it.
A Blank Slate
After her initial appointment, the legacy media has told us nothing and unless they can find dirt on her will likely remain silent.
If the legacy media were truly relatively impartial, we would expect to see a variety of articles on Ms. Wiles. We would encounter articles and features about her upbringing, her parents, her family, and her early years, etc. We would be told where she went to college, who her friends were, what organization she belonged to, about her academic credentials, and a variety of other things related to her education.
With an impartial Legacy media we would see articles related to her career progress. Where did she first start working? To whom did she report? What kind of progress did she make? What were her earnings? Who were her mentors? What was her big career breakthrough?

Instead Ms. Wiles is a blank slate to most of the American populace.
Magazine Covers Galore
A curious and impartial legacy media would explore the nature of early jobs. Did she travel? Has she been to Europe? What about Asia, or South America? Or, did she stay put? To whom did she report? Did rise quickly? What roadblocks and obstacles did she face?
What experiences in her career, particularly as a young adult, helped to shape her views today?
If she had been the first female chief of staff for a Democrat president, how would the legacy media be covering her? She'd be on the cover of magazines such as Ladies Home Journal, McCall's, and Red Book. We would see a variety of articles focusing on her family life, her upbringing, the influence of her parents, her childhood friends, her college friends, whether she was in a sorority, and other key aspects of her life.
We would also see current profiles of her related to her day-to-day job with the President, including how she arrives at decisions, and gain various other insights into the type of manager she is. The angles and opportunities for features about her would be considerable.
Zip, Nada, Nothing
Instead, we have none of that. Where are the features about Susie Wiles in legacy media newspapers or magazines? Indeed, her being the first female White House chief of staff is a yawner for the legacy media. They couldn't care less.
They claim to be advocates for women, minorities, and the disadvantaged, but when they have a real life example of someone who has broken through one of the glass ceilings, forget it.
She is on the wrong side of the political aisle, so they are silent. This silence, in part, is why respect for and trust in legacy media is at an all-time low and dropping. They’ve earned their dishonor, over and over again.
Hopelessly Biased
Keep all of the above in mind the next time you encounter any mention of Susie Wiles, any place. Then consider, why does the typical person know so little about her? The answer is that the legacy media is so hopelessly biased in our nation that they can't stomach the idea of highlighting someone, female or not, who is a Republican, and most particularly, works with President Trump.
