The moment Bruce Jenner “came out” as Caitlyn, Bruce ceased to exist. It was as if he was never born, and everyone was expected to go along with the charade. Curiously, most people did. News stories immediately and unquestioningly stopped referring to Bruce. But no one bothered to ask a very basic question: how does Bruce, or anyone, know what it’s like to be another gender? They don’t ask it because it is impossible to answer, and they don’t want to be seen as insufficiently woke. But it’s an important question as people are having their lives ruined over slipping up and referring to people by the only way they’ve known them their whole lives.

Men and women are different. For all of human history, that was a statement of fact. About 20 minutes ago it became “controversial.” But if you think about the concept, it’s impossible for anyone to know what being a gender feels like.

How would you describe what chocolate tastes like to someone who has never had it? How would you describe the scent of a rose to someone who’s never smelled one? Could you explain a sunrise to someone born completely blind?

You couldn’t do any of those things effectively because there is no frame of reference to use. The same goes for gender.

Honestly, you have no clue whatsoever what fear feels like to another person, or love, happiness, or anything. All you know, and all you’ll ever know, is what you experience. It’s all you can ever know. We fool ourselves into thinking we can understand more, likely because it makes people feel less alone.

So how does a man know what a woman feels like, or vice-versa? They can’t. It is simply not possible. You can be attracted to whatever, that is something you can know, but there is simply no way to know what another person, let alone gender, feels like.

Like taste – some people like spicy food, others don’t – human beings simply cannot “feel” like another gender.

People just are. You aren’t conscious of your gender, it is literally the only way you’ve ever been. You don’t know if it’s normal or not, “correct” or not, or anything else. Yet, we’re supposed to take people’s word for the idea that somehow God or nature got it wrong; or all of human history has been wrong on this existential topic.

I don’t care how anyone wants to live their life, what they want to be called, or what anyone does (as long as whoever they’re doing it with is of age and willing), but the idea that some people know the unknowable is simply pandering.

A man has no idea what another “feels like” inside, nor does any woman. The idea that they can is a lie; pandering of the highest order. Men will never get pregnant, just as women will never get prostate cancer. It is a physical impossibility.

By and large, men are stronger and faster than women. There are, or course, exceptions. Some women are stronger or faster than some men, but no woman is stronger or faster than every man. Biology simply doesn’t allow for that.

In 2018, I wrote in my book about the 100-meter dash. Usain Bolt is the fastest person on the planet, holding the world record at 9.58 seconds. In the 2016 Olympics, Bolt not only won, every one of the 10 finalists had a time faster than the fastest time ever recorded for a women – the slowest male finalists’ time was 10.06 and women’s world record is 10.49.

Testosterone, which men produce in much higher quantities than women, is considered a performance-enhancing drug. If a female athlete tests positive for levels of it on par with the average man, they’re disqualified because they’ve been doping. But a male athlete who suddenly declares themselves to be a woman and wins…

Reality is not dependent upon someone’s belief in it, it just is.

People can insist, fool themselves, demand, whatever they want, but those delusions or lies won’t change what is. Biology doesn’t care how you dress or what name you answer to. If I’ve known you as Bob and you suddenly want to be called Jenny, I’ll call you Jenny. But that doesn’t, and won’t ever make a man a woman. And, honestly, I’ll probably call you a lot less often. I don’t care what kind of world people want to fool themselves into believing they live in, my problem is when anyone tries to force everyone else to live in that delusional world too.

Up is up, down is down, gravity is real, the Earth is round, and men are men and women are women. What you do within that reality is what matters. Denying it won’t change that.
