It was not all that long ago when saving democracy was all the rage in the press. Like, just months ago, if memory serves. Trump was going to ruin democracy, the press would stop him, and the Democrats would save it – so went the script.
Well, suddenly democracy is considered a bad thing when it comes to Ukraine. Newsweek has come out with the declaration that it would be a horrible idea if that country held elections because it could lead to Volodymyr Zelenskyy losing and no longer running the show. This is where the press has landed.
So Trump needed to have lawfare thrown at him and an attempt needed to be made to remove him from ballots, all in the name of democracy because they do not like him and he could win, but Ukraine cannot have elections because they like Zelenskyy and he could lose.

Where was this concern for the past four years?
Once again, we are forced to point out the glaring contradictions in the press regarding Trump: He is the oppressive, monomaniacal dictator, AND he is not in control and is but a mere stand-in as someone else runs the country. ABC News is the latest to get in on the game, with the small difference being it hypothesizes who is actually in control.
We mention this, juxtaposed as it is against the last four years of Joe Biden gradually turning into a mound of tapioca before our eyes, and yet there was never any question who was actually at the controls while President Silver Alert was mumbling to the cameras.
As an example, ABC even covered the moment when Biden met with all of his agency heads for the first time in more than a year, and there was his wife, Dr. First Lady Professor Mrs. Jill Biden, running the Cabinet meeting – and ABC News had no questions or concerns.

Reporting on the anxiety generated by earlier reporting.
ABC was at it again, this time finding cause to slam Trump over the idea that there are many schools and parents consumed with anxiety over his deportation efforts.
Given that "Border Czar" Tom Homan and ICE are focused mostly on hardened criminals for their roundups and are not involving schools at all means that there is only one reason for this surge in nervousness, and that would be the misleading reporting giving them a reason to feel anxiety.
President Donald Trump's immigration policies already are affecting schools across the country, as officials find themselves responding to rising anxiety among parents and their children, including those who are here legally.

It’s not wrong for illegals to have this information, just the people they do not like.
Stephen Miller has been making regular stops on CNN as of late, and each time, we have seen hosts who are intent on tripping him up with scripted gotcha questions become unraveled as he delivers common sense and simple truths. The latest was his visit with Brianna Keilar, and the hostess was clearly set to derail Miller with some pointed challenges, but the baselessness of her charges became her undoing.
The worst was the segment where she was clearly bothered by the fact that Elon Musk’s DOGE team might access personal information at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Miller tried to hold her hand, figuratively, to explain that DOGE is a government agency accessing info held at a government agency.
But it was when he explained that it was discovered that illegals had been given the Social Security (SS) numbers of deceased individuals in order to access benefits, he basically ridiculed the hostess for being more concerned that Musk’s team might have access and not bothered that a felony was taking place any time an illegal is given someone else’s SS number.

Tim Burchett of Tennessee is another who has become a semi-regular on the networks and continues to blast narratives into confetti. In the latest, he was on with Pamela Brown and he just had her so off balance she was stammering, and he did so with simple facts.
You can choose the best aspect of this visit; her saying they always reported on government waste but are essentially against anyone taking action to stop it, or her complaints about staffing at our nuclear agencies but being unaware of the disaster from the Biden administration, Sam Brinton.
