AWOL Secretary of Defense and the Pervasive Dereliction of Duty by Joe Biden and His Administration

Tonight, following at last offensive kinetic action by U.S. military forces supported by the UK, Australia, and the Netherlands, finally attacked the Houthis terrorists in Yemen. With concerns high of the Houthis fulfilling their threat that if attacked, they will respond in kind against U.S. targets and those of our allies, presumably the nearby vulnerable Israel. Amid this crisis, rather than be active with the Secretary of Defense (as of tonight, still under hospital care at Walter Reed), the National Security Council, our totally inept and criminally negligent president, called a “lid” of no further communication with the American people.

It is nearly impossible to fathom our national leadership's abject, total failure. However, as we have observed for the past three years, incompetence, lack of planning, lack of purported “transparency,” and any possible sense of responsibility are completely absent in the Biden administration.

The Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, was AWOL (Absent Without Leave) last week, totally unknown by the Biden Administration Security Advisor and our bumbling, failing Commander-in-Chief and his administration, who have been consistently derelict in their official constitutional duties.

This is only the latest egregious failure of our national security in a long list of those failures but more evidence of a lack of common sense, military protocol, or even civilian business practices.

The Sec. Def., his generals, and the civilian security apparatus of the Biden administration, mistakenly given critical responsibilities by affirmative action rather than by merit, have totally forgotten basic military leadership principles and doctrinal practices more than a century old.

The standard doctrinal Operations Order for all army, marine corps, and many of our other services habitually and doctrinally uses the Five Paragraph Field Order to structure all operations, combat, and peacetime from squad level to theater command. In that Five Paragraph Field Order, paragraph 5 is the mandated inclusion of “Succession of Command.”  That information, required by all operations, clearly requires a written or oral order to specify for all in the command who will be second, third, fourth, and so on in the command if the commander is wounded, missing, or killed in action, prior to any actions.

Further, any such unexplained absence by leadership in a civilian corporate environment resulting in an operational vacuum would cause immediate dismissal of those leaders.

The Biden administration party line is that Sec. Austin did not want to alert our enemies that he was extremely sick with prostate cancer and required immediate emergency surgery. I have news for Biden and Austin:  Our enemies, the list of which is growing ever larger and more aggressive, well knew Austin was seriously sick and having emergency care before our president did.

Austin was hospitalized for his cancer on January 1.  The president did not know of his condition or that he was absent from work until 4 January. With two proxy wars being fought by the USA, more than 130 attacks in the last nine months on coalition forces in Iraq and Syria by Iranian-backed terrorists, more than 30 attacks by Houthis on international shipping in the Red Sea and off Somalia in the last nine months, also backed and armed by Iran, on international shipping and directly attacking U.S. Navy vessels, posturing missile launches by North Korea. With constant provocations by the People's Republic of China against Taiwan, you would think our president would be in frequent daily contact and consultations with his Defense Secretary.  However, Biden is too senile, demented, and obsessed with securing his daily ice cream ration to be bothered with our national security.

All this hostile action against U.S. interests and many directly against U.S. personnel and military, you would expect to be summarily, firmly, and definitively addressed by U.S. forces. That is not the case with the waffling, politically expedient Biden Department of Defense (DoD). Rather, Biden and Austin, when not AWOL, waffle, prevaricate, fail to plan and conclusively execute actions to eliminate the sources of much aggression, Iran to be specific, as well as the bases of this aggression in Yemen, Syria, and bases in Iran.

All this failure is well within the pattern of the incompetence of the Biden administration, which seems to have absolutely no compass, thought processes, or guidance except for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, as well as to flood the country with more than 8 million illegals who they know will eventually vote for democrats. This critical endangerment to our national sovereignty could be stopped in less than 30 days with planning, prudence, funding of the border wall, and the use of deadly force.

As a result of this deliberate violation of our constitutional sovereignty, the U.S. is in imminent danger of massive and pervasive attacks by terrorists. I recommend you immediately secure via Amazon a copy of the brilliant, highly detailed, and frighteningly real novel on this subject: The Attack by Kurt Schlichter.

Such was the abject failure of the lack of any national strategy, operational or tactical planning, concept of operation, allocation of forces, intelligence gathering, and management, all resulting in the loss of any control of Afghanistan for either the coalition or the Afghans themselves. We abandoned $100 B in U.S. equipment now brewing used against us by terrorists around the world, abandonment of thousands of Afghans loyal to their democratic government budding, as well as indispensable to our coalition military efforts, and even hundreds of Americans left to the brutal ministrations of the Taliban. Worse, we totally unnecessarily lost 13 American service members in the botched evacuation of Hamid Karzai International Airport.

All this with absolutely no consequence for any general officers or senior officials in the pentagon or the White House. All that resulted within our government from this fiasco was the development and distribution of gross lies about how successful the operations were in leaving Afghanistan and closing out 20 years of war and sacrifice.

Biden and his inept, criminally negligent, and ignorant administration have placed our republic in eminent deadly peril. Immediate impeachment is the mandate for any of our legislators and citizens who care about preserving our republic.
