Are Bernie Sanders’ presidential aspirations coming back from the dead?
Kamala Harris is headlining a $25k plate fundraiser for the New York State Democratic Party. Is she resuscitating her election chances?
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is weighing his options, and he just might waltz his way into front-runner status for the nomination, since the new chairman of the Democratic National Committee headed the Minnesota Democratic Party previously.
Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro dodged a bullet getting passed over for the 2024 VP slot on the failed Biden-Harris-Walz ticket.
California Governor Gavin Newsom is transforming himself from a hard-core progressive to a middle-of-the-road Democrat seeking to make peace and break bread with conservatives, all in the hopes of appealing to a broader swath of American voters.
A Democratic Election 2028 bench is assembling itself to retake the White House and recapture Congress. Can the Democratic Party revive its chances for the presidency and national relevance?
Looking at the current state of affairs, it’s not looking good. The Democratic Party is stuck in the doom loop of doubling down on the most inane and unpopular stances, all while disdaining the real world and the harsh consequences of the progressive utopia they tried to force on this country during the Biden regime. Such is the price for allowing the unrepentant progressive left to take over your party. The Left’s March through the Institutions has been so successful that the party they co-opted has alienated everyone else.

The mainstream media is marginalized. The Universities are losing integrity, funding, and enrollment. Big Business is backing away from DEI and focusing back on making money. If ever there was a Presidential candidate who campaigned on a return to normalcy, it’s Donald Trump—and that’s saying a lot, considering that he ran three unorthodox campaigns. He ignored the consultant class’s self-serving (and bad) advice, hammered issues that the general public cared about, and now he has learned to implement state power for the betterment of the nation’s soul, mind, identity, and future.
The Democratic Party spent every ounce of political capital, cultural chicanery, and spiritual depravity to stop “Orange Man Bad,” and their efforts turned into a lemon. The Democratic Party embraced the California model of progressive vision and implementation. They have turned into the very fruits and nuts which the rest of the country wants nothing to do with.
The American People are waking up to the dangers of Woke, or they are waking up from Woke to begin with. With church attendance hitting unprecedented new heights (Hallelujah!) and the Left’s March through the Institutions coming to a screeching halt (Another Hallelujah!), their cultural and political capital has never bottomed so low.
So, let’s take another look at who the Democrats have leading their reported resurgence.
Bernie Sanders (one of the oldest U.S. senators) and Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez (one of the youngest House Reps and vanguard tearing down the Democratic Party’s old guard), have launched their “Fighting Oligarchy Tour.” Perhaps Sanders should also take a tour of his stock portfolios and many mansions. He no longer talks about the “big, bad millionaires and billionaires.” He just sticks it to the billionaires, since Sanders sauntered into the millionaires club some time ago. Sanders’ pretentious populist pandering, all while cashing in on his government network and living up the champagne socialist dream, is a sick joke. AOC is not far behind, no longer mixing drinks, but mixing it up with the high and mighty, still feted as a corporate media darling. How do you fight the system when you are the system, darling?
Nothing says “Fighting the Oligarchy” like darting from one rally to another on a private jet, right? Then again, AOC is currently the front-runner for the Dem 2028 nom.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries replaced Pelosi, but the Hag from Haight-Ashbury rakes in much of the Democratic Party cash. Jeffries makes TikTok videos in front of a crowd of empty. Senator Minority Chuck Schumer is losing popularity fast, with AOC breathing down his neck and likely to take his place in 2026.
Kamala Harris and Second Husband Doug went to a Lakers basketball game this past February, sat in the cheap seats, and no one cared. The only way she can appeal to the people is to stop pretending that she will ever be presidential material again. Democrats in California don’t want her to run again, either.
What about the Democratic governors? Governors may get the job done in their respective states, but policy goals don’t translate intoo national electability anymore. But let’s give them a second look anyway.
Shapiro is keeping a low profile but pandering to the pro-Palestinian forces more to offset his long pro-Jewish record. In a show of gratitude, one of those Palestinian activists tried to burn him down in the governor’s mansion.
Tim Walz lost his home county to Trump-Vance, and now the veterans are coming out in full force, calling out his stolen valor. Minnesota Republicans have taken back the Minnesota House of Representatives, fighting back rather than playing Minnesota Nice. Walz is just a vapid revamping of George McGovern 1972, and the Walz-Whatever ticket in 2028 will probably lose just as badly.
And then there’s Gavin Newsom. Sunny Hostin of “The View” roasted him for inviting conservatives onto his podcast. He can’t undo more than twenty years of progressive activism in California. Like Kamala, Gavin has won elections in nutty California, but the rest of the country will say “Nuts” to him.
Even Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, often touted as a left-wing activist success story compared to conservative standard-bearer Ron DeSantis of Florida, has tried to make herself winnable. She celebrated Trump’s tariffs but tried to hide during the Oval Office photo-op. She’s already politically dead.
So, is there any hope? Democratic Party stalwarts will have nothing left unless they leave the Left behind. If they can’t adopt the Bill Maher model, i.e., show some semblance of comity and sanity, they will stay stuck in the tomb of political oblivion.
